Beautiful day at the Whip!!! Race for life, a benefit for leukemia research! It's been a while, so I'm searching for a minute. Then I see this kid leading the pack in the main and flat landing the double-WOW!!! He's the minute:

Moose: What's your nickname?
DB-I don't have one yet!!! They just call me "DAN"

 

Moose: What is your current age and proficiency?
DB-16 novice-NBL/ intermediate-ABA

 

Moose: What is your favorite bike?
DB-Specialized

 

Moose: What is your goal for the 2005 season?
DB-To make the main at the NBL grands OR to jump the pro section at Southpark!!!

 

Moose: What is your favorite track?
DB-I really like Torrington and Egg Harbor, can I say 2?

 

Moose: Do you have any interests outside BMX?
DB-Guitar and Soccer

 

Moose: Who are your favorite riders locally and Nationally?
DB-locally-Meghan Burke/Matt Markie, Nationally-Jeff Upshaw/Kyle Bennett 

 

Moose: What is your favorite food?
DB-I like hamburgers!

 

Moose: Who is your favorite band?
DB-Thrice

 

Moose: When did you start BMX?
DB-I started at 9 years old

 

Moose: Do you still have your first trophy?
DB: Yes I do.

 

Moose: Name 1 thing that keeps you coming back to the track?
DB-FUN and Cool people!

 

Moose: If not BMX racing what would you do for a sport?
DB- Probably soccer or Freestyle

 

Moose: My moto is "it's all about the first berm" what's yours?
DB-"look cool while your winning"
